  • Replaced Memoria with Magicite as the 3rd party importer of record
  • Therefore, GameAssets.zip no longer has to be downloaded separately!
  • If you have a previous installation of FF1 PR Rando, you may want to "revert back to vanilla" before randomizing.

NOTE: Out of respect of GitHub's disk space, please download this release first! https://github.com/gameboy9/FF1-PR-Rando/releases/tag/0.2

You can wildly randomize these stats where you can make, for example, a white mage to be super strong, physically, and the knight to be, say, super weak. This feature will force the optimal party to be different with each seed.

You can randomize the stats less randomly if you want to keep the same optimal party but you want a slightly different experience.

  • Added an installation button.
    • Make sure the two ZIP files that are extracted out of the ZIP file you download are in the same directory as the program!
    • (to prevent clogging up GitHub's disk space, all future releases will require a download of this release first)
  • Upgraded framework to .NET 7.0. (hoping that this will resolve issue #24)
  • Monster stats can now be randomized. You can either use a negative to positive range, or you can make things more difficult by making the base 100%.
  • Magic shops are now more randomized.
  • Antidotes and gold needles will now always be in Cornelia
