Add Quiet Mode #6
Comments
Can you select quiet mode from the preset menu? |
It propably doesn't have those features. Can you select those from the st app? |
Well that is strange. Have you tried to remove and add the integration again? |
indeed, issue continues. How can I help? |
You can log into https://account.smartthings.com/login And see if that specific device has that feature listed in supported ac optional modes. |
If it is not listed there, those features cannot be selected. You will have to try and reinclude the device into smartthings if this would help. |
I am searching for that menu from your print , can't seam to find it on https://account.smartthings.com/login. In "my devices" I see both AC but i can't find what you ask. |
Correct type should be ocf air conditioner |
ok. I don't know why but indeed my second unit does not show "quiet" in the supportedAcOptionalMode array while my first one does. Of course something is wrong because -> "acOptionalMode: quiet" and I can select it using the smartthings app and home assistant shows quiet. So... what does one do after all this time.. power off the unit and power on... and I hate when computers makes me seam stupid, all is fine. Thank you and I am sorry for your time on this. |
Good to hear the problem is solved. |
Also don't forget to star this repo if you find it usefull. This helps me a ton. Thanks. |
@adolfotregosa did you recycle the power from the remote or from the breaker (full power cycle), so that the issue got fixed? |
remote was enough
