When the hero stands behind an activated switch, the iluminated floor may be drawn over him. This is mostly likely due to the depth buffer not handling translucent pixels. That is, since the switch is in front of the hero, if it is drawn first, the depth buffer will believe that the iluminated floor is also in front of the hero.
