Set Vercel Proxy/Edge Region to a strict region #7463

Since you want to keep your site fast for end users, but block this bot traffic, could you instead create a custom rule for the Vercel WAF to deny the bot? This is available for free on all plans. |

We don't want to deny the bot. We want the bot to crawl as needed. We just want the bot to visit our Sin1 server, so we don't incur extra FOT. |

Issue: Our Target users are only in Sin1 region. But we are seeing high Fast origin transfer(FOT) from multiple regions(Mostly ida1) due to Bot/crawler fetching our site.
Proposed solution:
The user can disable regions they don't need.
or,
2) Add option to set headers for strict region for both function and edge.
Known problems with this approach:
The users from other regions may face slower speed. But we are okay with it as it would significantly reduce our costs.
