MCMMO giving exp from spawner

I have the experience.yml configured so it doesnt give exp for mcmmo from spawners. It's on zero but it still gives exp.
I tried putting it on -1 but it crashed the plugin

Are you using a mob stacking plugin?

That plugin is likely removing the tag that mcMMO puts on mobs noting that it comes from a spawner.

You might not be able to stop the spawners giving exp since it's a vanilla behaivour.
